High-end sinter-based parts powered by Hot Isostatic Pressing

Residual porosity limits the mechanical performance and reliability of sinter-based components. Quintus Technologies’ Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) and High Pressure Heat Treatment (HPHT™) solutions remove internal pores and voids, improving density, fatigue life, ductility, corrosion resistance, and thermal properties.

For Metal Injection Molding (MIM), Binder Jetting, and other sinter-based PM processes, HIP post-processing enhances material performance and reduces variability. Quintus HPHT™ capabilities including advanced cooling capabilities such as URC®, URQ®, Steered Heating™, Steered Cooling™, and Quintus Purus® — enable controlled in-situ heat treatment, reduced oxidation, consistent temperature homogeneity, and high productivity.

These solutions support reliable manufacturing of high-end and mission-critical components across industries.
