Medical implants and tools

Isostatic pressing enables implants to perform at their maximum capacity and special purpose tools to be surface polish to mirror shine, making it possible to keep them durable, clean and sterile.

Reliability and cleanliness, isostatic pressing delivers

As for the aerospace industry, the medical industry is also depending on customers trust in the performance of the products supplied by the industry. This is why most, if not all cast and PM parts used for implants and tools will be hot isostatic pressed before ending up in our bodies or assisting in the operations. Quintus has been working together with both the medical industry and equipment manufacturers to make sure that the capability for producing the optimal parts regardless of material or manufacturing process of choice: Ti6Al4V, CoCrMo, ceramics, cast, AM, PBF-LB or –EB. There is the optimal isostatic pressing equipment and process parameters to take the parts to a state-of-the-art level.
