Quintus Technologies provides high pressure processing solutions that help vehicle manufacturers improve the quality, consistency, and production efficiency of components such as ceramic ball bearings, formed automotive parts, and all-solid-state batteries

High pressure technologies for the future of mobility

Vehicle manufacturers are working to improve efficiency, reduce weight, increase durability, and develop new electrification technologies. Quintus supports these goals with Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP), Flexform™ sheet metal forming, and Warm Isostatic Pressing (WIP) for all-solid-state battery production.

HIP for advanced automotive materials and components

Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) densifies metal and ceramic materials by reducing internal porosity and improving material consistency. It supports demanding automotive applications where strength, fatigue performance, and durability are critical, such as ceramic ball bearings for electric vehicle systems.

Flexible sheet metal forming for automotive parts

Flexform™ Fluid Cell and Deep Draw presses support efficient forming of complex sheet metal components, especially for low-volume and high-value production. The technology enables flexible manufacturing with reduced tooling needs and consistent part quality across applications such as truck beams, automotive lids, and bus doors.

WIP for all-solid-state battery production

Quintus Warm Isostatic Pressing (WIP) applies uniform pressure and controlled heat to battery cells, helping reduce porosity and improve contact between materials. Our solutions support battery development from research and pilot production through to industrial-scale manufacturing.

High pressure expertise for evolving vehicle technologies

As vehicle technologies evolve, new materials, components, and manufacturing challenges continue to emerge. Quintus develops high pressure solutions to support these changing needs, helping manufacturers advance new processes and prepare for the next generation of mobility.
