High Pressure Warm Forming System

The Flexform High Pressure Warm Forming (HPWF) process is a new technology, potentially replacing or complementing traditional hot forming methods, such as super plastic forming (SPF), hot stamping and hot gas forming.
High Pressure Warm Forming System

The HPWF process operates at a temperature below 270°C (520°F), and at a forming pressure of up to 1,400 bar. The unique combination of high pressure and relatively low temperature provides a cost efficient forming process for alloys like titanium and magnesium.
