In this training session, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jim-shipley-0887a331\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jim Shipley<\/a> from Quintus Technologies explains how HIP helps improve part density, fatigue performance, ductility, fracture toughness, corrosion resistance, surface quality, and repeatable mechanical properties in additively manufactured components.<\/p>\n<p>The training covers key HIP fundamentals, including pressure, temperature, time, argon atmosphere, densification, porosity removal, diffusion, creep, and plastic deformation. It also introduces advanced capabilities such as <a href=\"https:\/\/cn.quintustechnologies.com\/products\/material-densification\/hot-isostatic-presses\/high-pressure-heat-treatment\/\">High Pressure Heat Treatment<\/a> (HPHT\u2122) \u2014 integrated heat treatment inside the HIP, and <a href=\"https:\/\/cn.quintustechnologies.com\/products\/material-densification\/hot-isostatic-presses\/high-pressure-heat-treatment\/quintus-purus\/\">Quintus Purus\u00ae<\/a> for cleaner processing and reduced risk of oxidation and alpha case in titanium parts.<\/p>\n<p>You will also learn how HIP can support faster AM production, including examples of speed printing, IN718, dense shell\/contour strategies, reduced build time, and improved productivity without compromising material quality.
