Regional Commercial Manager

In the role as Regional Commercial Manager, you are responsible for managing all bids and commercial issues in your geographic region. You will also be a key player in the regional Sales team contributing to new business opportunities and bid requirements. The bid is the foundation for a successful project execution, where the Regional Commercial Manager is the project leader responsible for the full process from bid development to the execution of contracts and then handover to Project Management.

The Regional Commercial Manager works in close collaboration with Sales, Product Management, Finance and Legal for each business opportunity. You will lead and coordinate the work required from these departments for each bid. You will have responsibility for the Terms and Conditions of  all bids/contracts in your region.

The Regional Commercial Manager is responsible for the start of performance of each signed contract, including order acknowledgement, invoicing and other commercial requirements. You will also support the Project Manager on any commercial issues and negotiations that may arise during project execution and after delivery.

To succeed in this role, you need to have a holistic perspective without losing focus on the details. This position requires leadership, structure and creativity, and will be very stimulating for the right candidate.

You report to the manager for Bid & Commercial. Traveling to customers will be required from time to time. Your home location will be the headquarter in Västerås.

Your profile

You have a relevant degree in engineering, law, finance, or similar. You have at least 5 years of experience from bid, project, purchasing or sales positions in a high-tech international industry. You have solid experience in negotiating, reviewing, and proposing contract terms and conditions. It is an advantage if you have worked with process development in a technology-driven organization. You are skilled in MS Office and fluent in English, both written and oral.

On a personal level, you are a flexible and result-oriented team player with excellent communication skills. You are structured, solution-oriented, and have a technical interest. You have a positive mindset and create results through teamwork and collaboration.
